Creator Hacks Mixer
Velle × pebblebed · San Francisco
What started as a coffee chat quickly turned into one of our most intimate events yet.
After meeting Jennie Dobro at our NY Tech Week by a16z event, our founder reconnected with her in San Francisco and realized they shared the same vision of creating a space where creators could openly share what was actually working for them. With Jennie heading overseas soon, the timing felt right. Together with pebblebed, we brought the event to life in just a few days.
Hosted in an intimate half-circle setup designed to spotlight each speaker and encourage conversation, the evening featured three creators sharing practical editing techniques, content strategy, and social media growth insights with a room full of creators across different industries.
Jennie Dobro shared how she turned a viral accusation into a sponsorship opportunity while demonstrating GenAI tools for creating standout content. Amir Sorhan Karimloo spoke about building collaborations, creating viral moments, and turning short-term attention into lasting community. Maryna Rybakova shared her framework for building a personal brand system for consistent social growth.
Co-hosted with pebblebed, an early-stage VC backing some of the sharpest technical founders, the evening showcased what happens when creators come together to share what is working right now.
Key Takeaway: Two of our featured speakers were Velle members, and the entire event came together through relationships built within our own community. By spotlighting our members and creating opportunities for them to share their journeys, Velle continues to grow through collaboration, connection, and celebrating each other's success.
